Our Approach to Hospice Care
Hospice de la Luz is a local, independent hospice founded by experienced nurses with the vision of raising hospice care to a new standard of excellence and compassion. We treat every patient as an individual, not a case or a number.
Principal team members have many years of hospice experience. Our nurses, physicians, certified nursing assistants, counselors and volunteers share our commitment to personal, compassionate care and family support. Most have been with us for years.
We go beyond traditional medical care. In addition to treating the patient, we provide emotional and spiritual support for the whole family with a team of social workers and pastoral counselors. Hospice de la Luz is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We will work with your doctor or can arrange house calls by one of our hospice medical directors.
