About Volunteering

The last good thing that may happen in a person’s life is a hospice volunteer.

Volunteers make a difference. Volunteers have always played an integral role in every aspect of fulfilling the mission of hospice. As a hospice volunteer you can help patients and their families by: making a meal, reading a book or poem, listening to precious memories, polishing fingernails, sharing family photos, baking cookies, listening to cherished memories, singing a song, holding a hand, giving a hug, laughing, crying, touching a heart, changing a life, maybe even your own.
